Co-sponsored by the Passaic River Rowing Association and Nereid Boat Club, the Head of the Passaic is one of the largest sporting events in New Jersey.
Conveniently located just 12 miles from New York City, this regatta attracts rowers from the tri-state area. The challenging 2.5 mile course features many curves, two bridges, two docks, and tidal current.
Highly competitive, HOPR is a premier Juniors regatta, with many area high schools competing.
HOPR also offers stiff competition for Masters. Scheduled the week before the Head of the Charles, HOPR is the perfect event for fine tuning your crew's skills before traveling to Boston.
