The Head of the Passaic Regatta is hosted by:
Regatta location overview:
- The regatta is run out of 3 boathouses (see map below; click for larger version). 4 rowing docks are on the course.
- Boat trailers should proceed
to the Riverside County Park parking lot off the PRRA dock.
Directions to PRRA are below and signs will be posted directing
you to the parking lot.
- If you are planning to
car-top a single, you may choose to launch from either the PRRA dock or
the Nereid boathouse dock. Please let us know if you are planning
to launch from Nereid so we will have your bow number ready.

the Nereid boathouse:
| From NYC: |
Lincoln Tunnel out of city and you will be
on 495W. Follow 495W. to Rt. 3 W. About 1 1/2 miles past Giants
Stadium look for Riverside Ave Exit. At end of exit, make a right onto
Riverside Ave. The boathouse is about 1/2 mile on your left. |
| From NJ Turnpike: |
Exit 16W to Route 3 west. About 1 1/2
miles past Giants Stadium look for the Riverside Ave exit. At end of
exit, make a right onto Riverside Ave. The boathouse is about 1/2 mile
on your left. |
| From Garden State Parkway: |
Exit 153A to Route 3 East for about 5 miles.
Look for Park Avenue/Riverside Ave exit. Make a right immediately
after exiting and another right at stop sign onto Riverside Ave. The
boathouse is about 1/2 mile on your left. |
Directions to
the PRRA boathouse:
Proceed as for the Nereid boathouse.
At end of Riverside exit, make a left onto Riverside Avenue and drive about 2.5
miles. You will see the Fortunato's restaurant on your right hand side, enter
the park entrance at right (Riverside Park South, Bergen County). Bear right and
park in the back lot. Walk the foot path toward the river and you will see the
PRRA Boathouse.
Parking:
Boat trailer parking will be
assigned by the regatta committee.
